Making My Way Downtown With JORD

I’ve never been a huge fan of arm candy – bracelets, cuffs, bangles…they’re just not for me. They either end up getting in the way when I’m typing on my laptop, hung on everything (because somehow I manage to do that!), or they are super heavy and obnoxious. I will wear a unique looking bracelet here and there for special occasions, but usually I stick with my Fitbit or my Fossil watch since they’re both functional and lightweight. Sometimes though, I do wish these functional items offered a bit more style. I didn’t think I’d find this goldilocks arm accessory that was the perfect combination of functionality and style, while remaining lightweight, but I did y’all!

JORD is a unique company that fashions watches out of wood. Yes, I said wood! What? Didn’t realize this mint faced beauty is made of wood? An awesome feature of this company is that you can choose which type of wood strikes your fancy from a long list of options such as: bamboo, sandalwood, and walnut. This watch definitely fulfills my style requirement, but if I’m going to wear a watch, high quality is a must – a watch needs to work! All JORD watches come with a one year warranty as well as the option to send it in for repairs if needed after that year is up. Functionality? Check. The last item on my arm candy checklist is the most important determining factor for me to consider wearing something on my arm full time: weight… or rather, the lack thereof. I’m wearing the Frankie 35 Dark Sandalwood & Mint here, and it honestly feels as though I’m wearing nothing. The watches are very lightweight!

I would say JORD watches are the perfect combination of style and functionality which remaining light as a feather. Want to win $100 of a JORD watch?? I’ve got you covered with a dope giveaway!
