Happy weekend! I’m going to try my very best to make these Friday life updates happen every week because they’re something that helps me open up more with you all as well as reflect on myself. Please hold me accountable! Obviously, this one is a little late but it’s still up! I don’t know why but there’s something about short weeks that make the week go by extremely slow for me, which truly makes no sense at all! Recruitment is kicking off for my business fraternity next week and I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off making sure everything is perfect. Let me tell you, there is a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into recruitment for organizations. I’ve done this two semesters before and I’m still running into new obstacles to overcome. It’s difficult at times but has honestly helped me grow a lot too. I’m able to balance my school work, social life, work, and recruitment planning and executing.
Weekend Plans: Yesterday, I grabbed dinner with some friends at Baris. SO GOOD! Then a couple of us went to see the movie IT. Yeah… it was terrifying. Beautifully shot but horribly scary. I’m always terrified while watching scary movies but after I’m fine. Not with this movie. I actually hid under my blankets until I fell asleep I was so terrified! I still recommend seeing it though. Really good! Today, I’ll be attending the Baylor football game in my green and gold! (PS I’ve got a great post coming on stylish football outfits!) then my plans are up in the air for this evening. I’m sure it’ll involve hanging out with friends. I try to make Saturday’s my no school work day. Sometimes I have to do school work on a Saturday but I really try to study throughout the week so I can have my Saturday’s to relax and be social with friends or family. Then on Sunday, I’ll be up early doing laundry and studying for everything I need to for the coming week. How are you spending your weekend?

What I’m Reading: The Servant – James C. Hunter. It’s for my Leadership Communication class but I love it. I think this book is so beneficial to read whether you’re in a leadership position or not. What I’m Watching: I watched the Defenders on Netflix and though it was AMAZING. Well then I realized I probably should have watched their individual shows first. I’m now watching Daredevil on Netflix because he was my favorite character in the Defenders.
