What an eventful week. I was in a fashion show this past Saturday, but a post is coming about that! I had my last Diadeloso, which is a special Baylor holiday that means “day of the bear”. There aren’t any classes that day and Baylor hosts a ton of cool events and activities on campus. It was awesome to spend my last DIA with wonderful friends. We started the morning off with a big brunch then headed to campus to check everything out. After campus, we decided to chill by the pool and relax a little bit. Y’all, it’s April and the pool was still freezing because Texas weather is bipolar! We still were able to make the most of it though. After DIA, this week has been flying by. I can’t believe that last week of classes is NEXT week. Cue the minor panic attacks. I’ve been freaking out a little because I’m still on the job hunt. It was extremely intimidating at first, but now it feels like things are going a lot smoother. I’m hopeful. I can’t believe I’m growing up and getting an adult job, but I’m SO ready. I’m ready to work hard and get the job done. I’m ready to thrive at whatever I’m doing, hopefully social media marketing! Next week is going to be insane finishing projects and getting ready for finals but in the end it’ll all be worth it when I have my degree from Baylor and a job! ❤
Weekend Plans: Today, I’m working until 2, then off to thrift with Andrew. We have to find a good outfit for tonight because it’s my fraternity’s formal! YAY! It’s Havana themed and should be really fun. I’m stoked to get all dolled up with my gals then head out to meet our dates and have a swell evening! I’m probably going to eat my weight in churros too to be completely honest. YUM. Saturday, I’ve gotta study study study and work on a lot of homework and projects that are due Sunday and throughout the next week. It’s going to be a lot of work but, again, so worth it because I’m ALMOST done!! That evening, I’m going to the Rangers game with Andrew and friends. It’s my first game of the season! I grew up going to Rangers games with my dad and absolutely love them. I also love getting all dressed up for games too. Surprise surprise! Sunday, I’ll be in Denton watching Andrew play baseball! That’s always fun. Then I’m headed back to Waco to work on homework and get ready for the upcoming week!
Have a fabulous weekend friends!
