Weekend Update: August 3rd

This Week

I feel like this week has flown by. It seems like I woke up Monday morning yesterday, which I guess is a pretty good thing huh? The weeks seem to fly by. I find that pretty cool in some ways but also a little scary too. To think, my life is flying by. I’ve already been working here in Tulsa for over a month. WOW. I’m definitely excited to see where I go in my professional career and life in general but I never thought it would be this fast! Work has been good though. I’m learning a lot quickly. Regarding non-work stuff, I’ve been really getting into webinars and podcasts on how to build my business and how to attract individuals to my website. It’s awesome. Melyssa Griffin has a fabulous webinar all about Pinterest and how to use it better than you probably have been. I know I had been using it WAY wrong. Also, I can’t believe I almost forgot to mention that I finally saw Band of Horses last Saturday at Cain’s Ballroom!!! It was more than I could have ever asked for in a performance. They were AMAZING.

Weekend Plans

Today, I’m working like usual then Andrew and I are going to a Drillers game with a friend who’s coming into town for the weekend. I’ve started to love going to Drillers games. The tickets are extremely cheap and the ball park is walking distance from my apartment. win/win. Saturday, I’m finally going to the Margaritaville pool here in town! I’m so excited. There are cabanas, and floats, and a swim up bar! It’s been something I’ve been wanting to go to since I moved to Tulsa. As far as that evening, we don’t have much planned yet. TBD. Sunday, I would like to go hiking again at Turkey mountain. Last weekend, Andrew and I did the 5 mile hike and it was beautiful but left my legs sore, that’s for sure. Sundays are usually our days to make a home cooked meal for dinner, recipe is still being decided; even though Andrew thinks spaghetti is always the decided meal. LOL.
